Principal’s Message

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Racette family.

Our school strives to bring out the best in every student, with achievement being at the core of this statement. We know that every student can learn and we will work together to make students successful.

Racette School offers a number of great programs including: Faith Education, Religious Celebrations, Accelerated Reader and Intramurals, to name a few.

To increase the achievement of every student, we have implemented an SST (Student Support Team) block every day before or after lunch.  This time will allow students to catch up on missing assignments, complete AR reading or get extra assistance with course work.

At the beginning of September, we are treated to a variety of WOW (Week of Welcome) activities. It was an excellent opportunity for students to make new acquaintances from grades 6 to 9. A special thanks to Mrs. Gerlinsky for organizing the events and to all fellow staff members for participating in this great activity.

Parent council meetings will be held on every 3rd Thursday of the month beginning at 7 p.m. We warmly welcome all parent(s)/guardian(s) to our meetings.

To everyone– Welcome, Bienvenue, Tawâw. Please know that our doors are always open.
